PAYMENT FAQS:
When should I plan to hire an attorney and make my payment? Time is of the essence in court cases. There are deadlines to meet, certain filing and motions that must be done, mandatory disclosures and evidence to be collected and presented to the court, etc. The court determines the deadlines. We help you along the way so you do not miss any essential deadlines, and in some cases, we may appear in court so you do not have to. Call the office and make an appointment immediately for your free consultation, as soon as you are made aware of a court case, and especially in criminal cases, BEFORE you speak to law enforcement or appear for your first court date!
How much will it cost for criminal representation? If you hire us to represent you in a criminal case, it is a one-time, non-refundable payment. The payment is based on the details of the case that we uncover during our initial consultation. After our thorough discussion, the cost of representation will be presented at the conclusion of our first consultation.
How much will it cost for family law representation? If you are hiring us to represent you in a family law case, you will pay a non-refundable retainer that is determined based off of the details of your case that we uncover during the initial consultation.
What if the family law retainer runs out before the case is closed? In some cases, the family law retainer is spent before the case is closed for various reasons and factors that will be explained by your attorney. In this instance, our office will be in contact with you to arrange additional payments to conclude your case.
We accept credit cards for all payments, to include the initial retainer in family law cases.
